Basic Environmental Requirements
Temperature: Maintain a relatively stable ambient temperature, ideally between 20°C and 30°C. Avoid direct sunlight and proximity to heat sources (such as stovetops) to prevent box deformation, surface finish degradation, and failure of internal magnetic components due to high heat.
Humidity: Recommended relative humidity is 55%–65%, not exceeding 65%. High humidity can cause paper-based boxes to soften and magnetic components to rust; use dehumidifiers to control warehouse humidity, and place food-grade desiccant packets inside during the rainy season for extra moisture protection.
Storage Guidelines
Store gift boxes away from walls and off the floor; use wooden pallets or racks to elevate them and ensure airflow, thereby isolating them from ground moisture.
Choose a sealed, dark, and odor-free storage space. Avoid storing them alongside items with volatile odors to prevent the box surfaces from absorbing smells that could affect future use.
Ensure the warehouse is rainproof and protect boxes from direct contact with moisture. Clean dust off the box surfaces before storage to ensure they remain clean and dry.
Special Precautions
For flip-top boxes with magnetic closures, prolonged exposure to high humidity significantly reduces the lifespan of magnetic components; inspect the boxes regularly and apply moisture-proofing maintenance to the hinges if necessary.
When stacking, adhere to load-bearing specifications for corrugated boxes; avoid excessive stacking that could cause deformation under pressure and compromise the opening and closing experience.
