Slide the drawer in and out at least five times to ensure smooth movement without sticking; verify that it sits perfectly flush with the outer box when closed, with no looseness or misalignment. Additionally, inspect crease lines for cracking or splitting, and ensure the box sits flat on a surface without wobbling or warping.
Verification of Visual Craftsmanship and Details
The surface material should be smooth, free of wrinkles or air bubbles, and contain no more than one scratch exceeding 2mm in length. Hot-stamped or screen-printed patterns should have crisp edges without blurring or bleeding; the finish should withstand a light 3M tape adhesion test without flaking or peeling. Color consistency across the batch should be virtually indistinguishable to the naked eye.
Material and Durability Testing
For paper-based boxes, select thick, rigid materials that spring back quickly after being squeezed without remaining dented. For plastic boxes, ensure the use of virgin material that offers high transparency (no haziness) and no pungent odor, with smooth edges free of burrs or rough spots.
Compliance and Stability Verification
Inspect adhesive points for separation or glue leakage, and ensure internal foam or EVA inserts fit snugly without shifting. If possible, conduct a 24-hour static stacking test to confirm that the boxes do not undergo significant deformation or collapse under load.
