Structural Form
Composed of an outer casing and an inner box; the casing wraps around the inner box, with the latter's bottom and back panel adhered to the casing. The unattached top section functions as a hinged lid that opens upwards. Both the appearance and opening mechanism resemble a hardcover book, with some models featuring magnetic closures to secure the lid.
Material Characteristics
The core structure typically consists of 1–5mm thick greyboard. The exterior can be wrapped in various materials-such as white cardstock, gold/silver foil paper, art paper, velvet, or PU leather-or crafted entirely from solid woods like maple or birch, catering to diverse packaging requirements and market positioning.
Functional Features
The lid typically opens to a full 180°, offering a premium, ceremonial unboxing experience. The robust structure features a wall thickness of 2–3.5mm. Interiors can be customized with flocked foam inserts or paper trays, providing secure storage and protection for a wide range of products, including tea, high-end cosmetics, and gift sets.
